The Way Too Last Minute Oscar Predictions

The Oscars are only a few hours away and yet again I’ve waited till the last minute to get something done. The Oscars are the highest honor a movie can receive in an award. I’m going to be brutally honest I have not seen many of the movies that are up for awards tonight but I probably know the most about movies out of the people who work for this network so that’s why I’m making these predictions. Movies such as La La Land, Fences, and Manchester by the Sea are the favorites to take home the most awards tonight. Actors like Denzel Washington and Casey Affleck (better actor than his brother) will battle for best actor. Mel Gibson makes his return to the Academy Awards in the best director category. A big reason why I will be watching the Oscars tonight is because of the host, Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel is one of the funniest people out there and is sure to be an excellent host. So if your looking to be a degenerate tonight like my co-worker Vin and are going to place some bets tonight on the Oscars, take some advice from your truly. Here are Ryan Gorman 2017 Oscar winner predictions:

Best Picture-La La Land

Best Actor-Casey Affleck

Best Actress-Natalie Portman

Best Supporting Actor-Michael Shannon

Best Supporting Actress-Viola Davis

Best Animated Film-Zootopia

Best Cinematography-La La Land

Best Costume Design-Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them

Best Directing-Hacksaw Ridge
