Iman Shumpert’s latest quote on being traded from New York to Cleveland is too real

Iman Shumpert was traded from the New York Knicks to the Cleveland Cavaliers about two years ago and for some reason he’s still talking about his former team. Shumpert was given the opportunity to win a championship and more importantly slide under the radar from the criticism he would’ve received in New York. He should spend more time enjoying being Lebron’s bitch and less dwelling on the past. The Knicks suck. Everyone knows it. They don’t seem to be improving anytime soon and it’s just downright embarrassing. I’m tired of hearing about it everyday like it’s some sort of breaking news story.

But on the other hand, go Shumpert go. Tell the sports world more about how painful it was to suit up for the Knicks and pretend to care each night. Expose this joke of a franchise in any way, shape, or form that you can because it isn’t going to get any better by just ignoring the obvious.

The Knicks couldn’t seem to win a game to save their lives when they were somewhat alive in the playoff race and now that it’s time to tank they’re pulling out Ws like it’s nobody’s business. Unfathomable. I hope they lose every game the rest of the way by 20+. I hope they unload the entire roster besides Ron Baker and Kristaps Porzingis. Blow this team up already and do something decent for once so assholes like Iman Shumpert can stop bad-mouthing the most valuable franchise in basketball.

And by the way, if Iman Shumpert’s idea of ‘hell’ is being paid millions of dollars to play basketball in New York City, then I think I’m okay with going to hell after all.
